IN-HOUSE ARCHITECT

Job Description:

At Kevin Jewelers (Jewelry Express, Inc.), we are a family-owned jewelry store aiming to provide high quality jewelry at the best possible price. Kevin Jewelers was established in 1975, in a modest 300 sq ft store in Beverly Hills, CA. Since 1975, we have relied on one motto: your best price, our family’s promise. Despite almost 50 years of growth and change, our business  philosophy and love for jewelry have remained consistent. We now have 40 mall locations all around Los Angeles,  including San Diego and Sacramento. Our employees and customers have grown with us and stuck with us through thick  and thin, just as families do.  

We are currently seeking an In-House Architect to join our team based in Los Angeles, CA. They will be responsible for  performing architectural design, overseeing interior design, developing and presenting project proposals, managing  construction contracts, managing project teams, and conducting monthly site visits to branches throughout the state.  

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.  
• 2 years of experience as an Architect or other role handling architectural design in commercial locations. 
• Demonstrated experience with interior design and project management including coordinating with  contractors and vendors. 
• Familiarity with Persian architecture
